Located in Tucheng Industrial Park, New Taipei City, Blackwood Co., Ltd. has been committed to the research and application of polyurethane (PU) materials since its establishment. It is currently the largest and most professional manufacturer of hot-cast polyurethane (Casting PU) products in Taiwan.

Dr. Chung-Ming Wu of Kuroki Corporation delivered a keynote speech entitled "Printing and Metallization Copper Plating Ink Technology" at the China Printing Technology Association Conference (CSGIA). 

Adhering to the philosophy of "quality first, technological innovation", the company has established a solid reputation in the industry over the years. Its products, such as office machine cleaning squeegees, screen printing squeegees, heavy-duty coated rollers, industrial rollers and wear-resistant consumables related to machine tools, are all known for their high quality. They have not only gained recognition in the domestic market, but are also trusted brands designated by international customers.

In recent years, Heimu has not only continued to consolidate its existing market share but has also actively expanded its research and development into emerging fields. The R&D team has devoted considerable effort to innovative design of a soft, stretchable, and printable high-temperature resistant film material, and has obtained several invention patents in Taiwan and the United States. This material possesses high ductility and good processability, and its greatest feature is the ability to flexibly adjust the material and hardness according to customer needs, and it can be combined into multi-layered structures, allowing products to combine flexibility, durability, and diverse applications. Currently, the company has partnered with several major international manufacturers to conduct product development and testing.

Dr. Wu Chongming, R&D Representative of Heimu Co., Ltd., was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the China Dalian Printing Technology Association Conference, introducing the company's technological breakthroughs in polyurethane materials and catalytic conductive inks.

It is worth mentioning that these patented materials can be made into powder and mixed with various substrates to effectively improve high-temperature resistance, with a heat resistance temperature exceeding 200 degrees Celsius. This breakthrough has been successfully applied to sealed epoxy resin products, helping customers pass the high-standard temperature resistance tests of major international manufacturers, demonstrating Blackwood's leading advantage in material technology.

Kuroki Corporation's highly ductile polyurethane film material, with conductive patterns printed on its surface, exhibits excellent flexibility and conductivity. 

In addition to its continuous advancements in PU and polymer materials, Heimu is also actively engaged in the research and development of precision screen printing. Besides continuously optimizing its doctor blade products, the company has recently expanded into the development of catalytic inks, receiving government SBIR (Small Business Innovation and Research Program) subsidies and a Taiwanese invention patent. This ink can be applied to fully additive printing technology, utilizing non-conductive ink through UV irradiation and chemical copper deposition to achieve complete conductive and patterning processes. Its conductivity is superior to common silver pastes, and it does not require high-temperature sintering, completing the process below 100 degrees Celsius. This not only reduces energy consumption and process costs but also aligns with the internationally recognized trend of "green manufacturing." Heimu emphasizes that this achievement demonstrates the company's commitment to energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental sustainability.

Recently, Dr. Chung-Ming Wu of Blackwood Research Institute was invited to attend the Printing Technology Association Conference held in Dalian, China, where he shared his chemical copper catalyst ink technology. The presentation received positive feedback, with many expressing interest in investing and collaborating on further development. Blackwood stated that it will continue to uphold its spirit of innovation, integrating cross-disciplinary materials technologies to provide customers with more competitive solutions. The company not only focuses on Taiwan but will also collaborate with international partners to drive industrial upgrading and continue to showcase the strength of Taiwan's materials technology in the global market.

Kuroki Corporation has developed PI (polyimide) materials that can be applied in various forms, including flexible films, powders, and varnishes.
