Taiwan Printed Circuit Board Association (TPCA) convened an investment exchange meeting for the electronics manufacturing industry in Thailand on the 2nd of May. During the meeting, Mr. Lawrence Chang, Chairman of the TPCA Thailand PCB Sodality (Vice Chairman of TPCA), pointed out that we are witnessing a new industrial transformation against the backdrop of the US-China trade war and geopolitical intricacies. There is a demand for Taiwanese electrical and electronic, machinery, computers, automotive, mold, and electronic equipment industries to expand into Thailand. Each industry association faces the critical task of serving its members and assisting them in quickly establishing a presence in Thailand. Taking the PCB industry as an example, since 2023, 11 Taiwanese-funded PCB manufacturers and more than ten suppliers have announced investments in Thailand. To serve its members' various overseas investment needs, TPCA formally established the TPCA Thailand PCB Sodality at the end of last year to coordinate various Thailand-related affairs. Mr. Lawrence Chang, Chairman of TPCA Thailand PCB Sodality, expressed hope that through the joint efforts of governments and industries, cooperation projects will span four dimensions: industry, government, academia, and research. This will continue to improve the integrity of Thailand's electronic manufacturing industry supply chain, maintain Taiwan's competitive advantage, and create a new era.

In addition to thanking all exhibitors for their support, the prosperous results of the first exhibition also express gratitude to various industry associations for their participation and support in forums and talent-matching activities.
Thailand's emerging electronic manufacturing cluster is in its infancy and growth stage, and various industry associations are bound to face many expectations and challenges from their members. TPCA will continue to optimize the Thai business environment, cultivate local talents, and assist upstream and downstream supply chains in investment and cooperation in Thailand. TPCA will collaborate with various industry associations to enhance the energy of the electronics manufacturing industry.
