Basic Copper Carbonate

Properties
It is peacock-green fine particle amorphous powder with a density of 3.85. It is insoluble in cold water and alcohols, and soluble in acid to form corresponding copper salt.

Application
Copper Carbonate is used to prepare cupric compounds in inorganic industry, and is used as organic synthetic catalyst in organic industry. It is a kind of additive in Copper-Tin alloy electroplating industry. It is also used to produce fireworks, paint pigment, pesticide, antidote for phosphorous toxicity, fungicide for seeds, copper additive for animal feeds and petroleum sweetener. In recent years, it is widely used in wood preservative industries.
